This not only reinforces the seriousness of your calling, but also whatever training you have given in the gadgets and weaponry you have at hand. It is hoped, however, that the training you have given includes how to properly assess villains and their hangouts. Since we have already seen that our subject has a serious flaw in that he is willing to not just play both sides of the law, but actually commit crimes to further his mission, his judgment in selecting the targets of his activities is in question.
