Gene: Life really is a better teacher than the classroom... Arlo: I don't like the turn this conversation is taking.
He’s not 100% wrong. But I bet that he wouldn’t pick it up as easily without that classroom learning. I know German is a slavic language rather than Spanish being a Latin-based, but it’s still helpful to have the basis of other languages.
