Janis: I love our tradition of getting a living tree and planting it after Christmas!
Janis: As I recall, it was your idea!
Janis: I can't believe you'd suggest an artificial tree!
Arlo: I said "maybe".
Put it in storage with a sheet over it, whip the sheet off and roll it out next December. I said I’d never do it, but after visiting the tree lot 3 times in one week and finding no one at work each time convinced me to give it a try.
Once we figured out that an allergy to pine sap ran in the family, we realized why we were almost all getting sick every year around Christmas and switched to an artificial tree immediately.
Sorry, guys,in the spirit of the season, I sacrifice a live tree, (planed like tulips in rows to be picked) . Ahh,who am I kidding? (Guess it’s you guys! I’m just very traditional. I’m liberal as all get out, but, very traditional. Live tree at Christmas, Jack-O-Lantern (always triangle eyes and jagged teeth ), at Halloween, etc….Although I am a serial tradition starter….Make ’em up as you go along, I say..

Some artificial trees can look okay. And a nice pine scented candle helps create an atmosphere.

It’s time for them to start selling trees, now.

Plant a hardwood before they disappear. (honestly).
.
.BTW it takes 7 trees to make enough oxygen for a person to breathe. That is why people who go to the woods feel invigorated.

Wow, I guess doing that saves on buying a Christmas tree each year.

Boy, that would start to eat into the amount of lawn mowing.
Arlo, you might want to reconsider the artificial suggestion.

Fake trees can be very attractive and have their own unique charms…as do fake hair and fake boobage, but I digress…
