Just a whimsical one today, not a life lesson. Instead of lying on the ground, discarded, the tree is planted in enough snow to hold it upright before being unceremoniously tossed in the truck. That’s style. The town will mulch it. You can’t replant a dead tree.

Wait, I thought they planted their trees. Why is this going in the recycler?

Their old Christmas tree was at the curb, it snowed, so it got all beautiful. The trashmen have come and scooped it up. Arlo is commenting on how the tree is basically dressed up just to be tossed out..oh I’m tired now…

Where I lived before the birds didn’t have any cover near the feeder, so I would keep the tree in the stand and put it near feeder. They loved it. And it did look nice covered with snow, and was useful to boot!

You can’t replant a Christmas tree you’ve had in your house, there are no roots! I think they started a tradition of planting a tree to replace the one they got for their living room. But my question is, did he throw out the stand with the tree? Otherwise how was it standing straight up?
