Did Jimmy just break the fourth wall, or the fifth wall? I lose track….

Or did he just smite his critics?

They have different realities er values

When we finally see Gene again, it’ll be like the Doonesbury characters when Trudeau came back from his long hiatus. Just as all the Doonesbury characters were suddenly years older, Gene and Mary Lou will have three more kids, moved off the farm, taken over the restaurant when ML’s dad passed, and franchised it into a very successful nationwide chain, earning millions in the process. Or something like that.

I’m picturing Gene being thawed from carbonite.

I recently quit subscribing to a daily newspaper for the first time in many decades. The ONLY thing I really miss is Arlo and Janis! Tuning here online these days.

now that gene is out of the house, shouldnt a&j get a dog, or travel, or at least run around the house naked?

I have been wondering about Gene et. al. I mean Janis got an instant grandchild, wouldn’t she be visiting at least once a month? I know my brother and his wife are at my nephew’s place at least that often to see their granddaughter.

I always figured my wife and I were being watched and used for ideas for the strip…..

I’ve been wondering when they would make an appearance again.
