The point here is that some people just have to knit pick everything you say. My family is a lot like that. I think we got it from my Dad. I know I get on a roll some times with my wife and have to reign myself in. No one likes to be constantly criticized, and it can be very damaging to a relationship. Teasing is one thing…..constant critique is another.
