…depends on the squash, of course – buttercup squash is delicious…

Far as I’m concerned, the only item that could help squash would be a T-bone steak on top.

I prefer summer squash to the winter varieties – especially with the butter and onions.

Janis is too ‘touchy’. If you don’t ‘spice’ up squash, it taste bland. Just ask a person on a special ‘bland’ diet.

Arlo, Arlo, Arlo…. sir…. you have been married how long? At least two and a half decades if not longer…. how could you have fallen into the trap of stating something obviously true, yet obviously not something your wife would like to hear? Janis has a lot of her maternal instincts invested in that squash that came from your garden. To say that the squash is limited in any regard is almost akin to saying to her that her son, Gene would be “limited”.

I agree with Arlo. Squash….ugh!

I’m still just a child, but so far I’ve yet to meet a bad squash.

I usually don’t eat squash but I do know we have to season everything except for fruits for it to taste good. Janis shouldn’t be so sensitive about her ‘baby’ that she decided to cook.

Wow, she is difficult to live with. Poor Arlo.

I think Arlo did the cooking. People don’t usually compliment their own cooking. He knows what ingredients are in it. He often does the cooking.

jadoo, you are right. Butternut squash is sweet!

Have you ever eaten spaghetti squash? Very tasty with a little butter and parmesan. You can actually put spaghetti sauce on it. Works great when you’re dieting in place of pasta. Try it you’ll like it!
