According to some who post here and complain about the reference to sexual activities should complain to JJ about his creating panels with obvious sexual overtones or references. Don’t complain about the rest of us who find joy in lovemaking.

This is a sad commentary on our sex negative world where we don’t talk about sex with our partners. If you can relate to this panel, I urge you AND your partner to read “Come As You Are” by Emily Nagoski. A very sex positive book. My partner had me read this, and I am glad I have. Arlo and Janis might understand the dilemma if they did. (but the panel would no longer be funny)

Begging hasn’t worked for me in over 30 years……can’t seeing it helping here either.

We are a prudish society and it is a sad commentary that we feel so uncomfortable talking about something so important to both partners. I do see this as not a generational issue (it is easy to pass this on to the next generation), nor something that is specific to one gender.

They seem to spend every single minute together. I can’t imagine sex would be exciting with no time apart from each other. Janis is allowed to read, nothing wrong with that.

Well…perhaps Janis could put that thing down and beg herself! Arlo gave up way to easily! We were never opposed to either of us asking..

Spare yourself, Arlo. You’ve been begging for years without result. You may just need to start in on her yourself (gently, of course) and work her up to the point where she finally turns on. Worked for me last month. First time we’d had relations in six years.
