Or, as the saying (sort of )goes: all dressed up, and can’t go anywhere.

Sell the boat, take a nice cruise where other people do the work

Hopes dashed by Janis, like a boat on a reef.

Unfulfilled dreams. Book a cruise on a schooner where you’re part of the crew.

Why leave I never either one of them work — are they retired — they should be.

Have they ever actually used the boat on the water?

Doesn’t the boat have sleeping quarters?

Ha! Exactly. I recall when in my youth my parents had a cottage for about a dozen years. It was just like this. You spend the whole damn time fixing, cleaning, repairing the place and then it is time to go home… every, every time you go on “vacation”. It was tiring.

Oh! The deflation!!

“You shiver me timbers, matey. Arrr…”

Almost every day is like this for me.

Why would they have a boat they have to travel far to get to? That doesn’t make any sense at all. They can’t take care of it or use it that way.

Hey we are going to spend our last night on the boa,t and have a little midnight delight!

OK…The boat is pretty close, but not the kids… they never clean it, the kids appear to be far away as neither one (parents or children visits), but the boat only takes a few hours to clean up and get ready… ha.. and the cat is starving miles away..huh??. …pass that smoke along to the readers…
