Dani: I agree with you completely, and I wish I had the time to amble and enjoy the walk. I am looking forward to being retired someday and having more time to take life at the pace I want.

In Middle Georgia, we had a few cooler days in August (!), but summer is still here in October.

Nice! The crisp and light air is invigorating.

A sorta-hidden product placement? Nike was a female goddess who wore winged shoes I believe.

She must have had some Red Bull.

A cool front came through so it is more bearable.

My dog and I walk 3-5 times a day and its just now getting cool enough to be enjoyable. Love the fall.

Here it’s crisp and fall and you step reluctantly outside and can only wonder whose house you’re inhaling. Napa and Sonoma are to the north and 150 square miles gone… It looks like a sunset all day long and all you can do is pray for the people closer to the fires. Which is now us, too, or at least our lungs and eyes. Close the windows. Turn off the air intake in the car. Hope.

I’d go for a walk but the smoke from the Nor Cal fires is everywhere.

Me too…it’s the best time of the year to walk (except for maybe spring).
