Love Janis’ bug-eyed look at Arlo’s tambourine serenade! And no, Arlo – they had the words alright, but old Alfred meant just love in this case!

I think that every stage of life has its own definition of love, and it is appropriate for that age. My idea of love after 43 years of marriage is far different than when we married at 22. I can’t begin to imagine what it will be when we are in our nineties. (Yes, I am planning on living past 100, and I know that my lovely wife will. Her grandmother lived to 103, and her mom is 91.)

The synonym was then as well as today, lust.
