The way that we treat others says a lot about ourselves.

Do unto others. Teach your kids respect and they will be good citizens.

All very good, Aunty, but it doesn’t tie in with your musings of the past week!

If you want to judge other people, see how their dog greets them. Watch them in restaurants and see how they deal with the waitstaff or with the checkout clerk at the supermarket.

Words of wisdom to live by, Aunty! I was raised the same way. Thank you for the reminder.

After all that wonderful upbringing, Aunty, why did you turn out so rotten?

You also are a bit bi-polar.

I would say that I agree with you, and I do, but I’m a bit puzzled as it seems to be in stark contrast to your many other rants. Not sure if you are the “poster girl” for respect…

Don’t get me wrong I find Aunty quite amusing. But not very respectful.

As I replied a bit up; I feel Auntie was sent to us as a reminder to do as she SAYS, not does. A bad reminder as to what NOT to do?? I always ‘get’ her. She’s the best example of irony there is!

Good comic about manners. Seems like civility is on the decline.

Exactly how I was raised. Don’t call adults by their first name, don’t interrupt adult conversations, hold doors open for others (male or female), just don’t be an ass. Was anyone taught if you walked in between someone, ie at a store, between a person and a shelf you say “excuse me?”
