When around my nieces and nephews, I purposely mispronounce words and put accents on the wrong syl-LABLES, for humORous effect. They’ve taken to imitating that, even better (or worse) than I do. And we talk gibberish to each other, like Minions. It’s hilarious, we think. But their parents tend to disapprove. When did they get OLD?
