well … yeah … i know that voice – it was my sibling, breathing down my neck

I’m not surprised.

My inner voice is quite an uptight critic.

Men have a similar voice, it also adds “find someone to hold your beer”.

Mine says: “You know you shouldn’t, but…”

I’VE REACHED THAT AGE WHERE MY BRAIN GOES FROM “YOU PROBABLY SHOULDN’T SAY THAT.” TO “WHAT THE HELL, LET’S SEE WHAT HAPPENS.”

Mine does the same thing.

The voice in the back of my head doesn’t talk much without my back screaming NO!

At my age, my body punishes ordinary activity.

At my age I ignore it, most of the time. Come to think of it after it finishes talking there’s a hiss.
