Baby Blues by Rick Kirkman and Jerry Scott for December 11, 1995
Transcript:
Wook, mommy! Clomp! Clomp! Clomp! Oh, you're wearing big girl shoes. Uncomfortable, unnatural, foot pinching, crippling, awkward, throwback-to-the-stone-age-objectification-of-women big girl shoes! But perhaps I'm taking this too seriously... Maybe you should play dress-up with daddy's loafers for now.

They’re your shoes, Wanda. If you feel that way about them, why did you buy them in the first place?

Because it feels nice the first time you buy them and heels are mostly meant for short-term use. You wouldn’t know since I’m sure your wife does the shopping and you’re too “busy” to notice what she buys and appreciate her hard work.
