Oh jeez. I went through this phase at Zoe’s age or thereabouts with the neighbor’s cat. That poor cat just wanted to sleep on our porch step undisturbed… long story short that didn’t happen. I arrested the cat several times with a toy police whistle and hat.

That “too bad” should cost her at least a few minutes in the timeout chair. Sounds like sass to me.
