Wow! This says that the average 4-year-old asks 463 questions a day! That's amazing! How does it feel to be above average? What does that mean? What's inside a chair? Why is ice slippery? Why don't dogs laugh? Where's mom? Can I have some chocolate milk? Where does grandma live? How does the picture get in TV? Why is Hammie a boy? Who is God's mom? What is electricity? Where does rain come from? Why can't you see smells? When does night come on?

My parents survived that phase by getting us a book series “Tell Me Why” (unsure if that’s the English title), which was basically a compilation of the questions the average 4-year-old asks. I think it was a 10 book set.

The chances are she really doesn’t want to know the answers. She just wants to keep her dad from reading the paper and she just likes to hear herself talk.
