What does the T in T-shirt stand for? How do they get the lead into pencils? Where does gum come from? If you wear a sweater, do you have to sweat? Is a computer smarter than a telephone? Do chickens sing?
Just for fun, Iâm gonna answer all of Zoeâs questions!
Where is the middle of nowhere? According to statistics, the place in the US that fits that description best is Glasgow, Montana. Quoting from Google: âThe town is roughly 4.5 hours away from any other place that has at least 75,000 people, making it the so-called âmiddle of nowhere.ââ
Who invented toothpaste? William Nebergall.
Whatâs carpet made of? Most carpet is made out of synthetic fiber.
How does sound come out of the radio? Audio signals get sent to the speakers diaphragm, causing it to vibrate and make sounds.
Do fish smile? No. Fish doenât have the correct body structure or emotion to smile.
How many pages in a book? Depends on the book and how long it is!
Why donât gorillas wear jewelry? They just⊠donât I guess, because theyâre gorilals and donât understand what it means or what itâs for.
What does the âTâ in T-shirt stand for? It got itâs name do to the fact T-shirts are in a sort of âTâ shape.
How do they get the lead into pencils? Fun fact: pencils never have or have had lead in them, they are mix of graphite and clay. Pencils are likely manufactured in a complex way by machines.
Where does gum come from? Quoting directly from Google, âMost of the chewing gum made today is made using gum base, which includes a mixture of polymers, plasticisers and resins, and mixed together with food-grade softeners, preservatives, sweeteners, colours and flavourings.â
If you wear a sweater, do you have to sweat? Not sure if I understand the question really. Sweaters can make you hot and make you sweat, and different people sweat different amounts in different sweaters.
Is a computer smarter than a telephone? Even now, in 2022 where phones are more technologically advanced than ever, yes, phones are still less powerful than a computer, just like back in 2000.
