Few places offer a “small” size anymore, Wanda. They come in medium, large, extra-large, etc. or words to that effect. But it seems to me that the smallest size offered should be called “small” and “medium” should be that size which is half-way between the smallest and the largest.
I suppose that’s why Starbucks gave names to their drink sizes.
