Loving this strip. The pink for dusk is a great use of color. The “sleepy” eye on Mildred’s bag is typical of the thoughtful attention to detail. Fair trade? Well, it’s fair enough…Broasted slugs? That’s no fair to anyone.
I wonder if slugs count as protein?
Something tells me that Mildred is going to get some yogurt before the night’s out regardless.
If they keep pushing her at this rate, she’ll end up marrying a rich butcher and take up trophy hunting in Africa.
