Lottie, you just have to explain in terms that Mildred can understand. Just tell her that M. Broussard was part of foreign exchange student program, where she came to Tackleford when she was young and met a certain boy. THE Boy. And when The Boy went to France years later as part of the same program, they probably would have gotten together had The Boy not been already dating Esther at the time. But now that he’s single, M. Broussard could probably have a good chance at rekindling that spark, provided a certain ginger reporter/queen of Hell doesn’t get there first, which could be bad news for any of his boss’ daughters who might take a fancy to him, but who are waiting to be old enough for him. So maybe setting up M. Broussard with a troll could help that hypothetical girl have a chance with her crush.
Y’know, the classic story. I’m sure Mildred would completely understand where you’re coming from and fully support your plan if you explained it in those terms.

Lottie has the makings of a good mad scientist.

There’s nothing ‘beau’ about the Troll! What they should do is try to find him a Trollette, I don’t think he is the only one!

Probably Lottie’s worst plan ever! She’s still so angry for Shauna’s “betrayal” and Mildred don’t deserve this treatment.
