Bad times comes a haunting.

Well said current Lottie, and past Sarah. Sarah is the best sister.

For a long time, this was all we knew about the fate of Lottie’s father. But recently, she made a guest appearance in Steeple, and gave Reverend Penrose some more details. Apparently Mr Grote was the victim of a hit-and-run, and they never caught the driver. This instilled in Lottie her dedication to justice.

Lottie has taken Sarah’s admonition to heart. To this day, she has not stopped making a noise.

That is a strange lamp in the last panel.

Look like Lottie was crying thinking about her father after Colin said her to stay at home. The trauma is still strong, poor Lottie.

Sometimes you find out that people who are so annoying that they make you want to scream had something happen in their life that makes you go: “Oh. Well. I see.”

The trauma really never leaves. It’s been 50 years, and I am still feeling it.

…apparently it was. Sadly, that’s just how the cookie crumbles sometimes. :(

Who is slicing onions in here?

Heartbreaking.

This certainly brought back memories. My father was murdered in a late night robbery. I still remember every detail of that night.

Sarah is such a good sister. I’ve always appreciated their relationship.

Re the last panel: it wasn’t as though he had a choice.
