Reminds me of several things including the Tall Man, and some entities that just enter your body and even the ghastly Wendigo can attack you directly or take on the appearance of a person or inhabit their body and turning them cannibal giving them a voracious hunger that never dies.
Poor Mike. Life was really uneasy for him. So much sadness and pressure everywhere. Erin has to save him! After all; he’s kinda, almost, maybe a tiny bit like a friend for her!
So, he can kinda control it? Sometimes, if he wants to? He didn’t attack Erin, or is that just because she was committing no crime, other than being criminally hot?
I wonder if the Night Creeper is known by other names and if there is more than one of them? It obvious needs a material body to inhabit to use then leave it to take the punishment for the NC’s crimes. Similar to a Jekyll/Hyde scenario and also any other monster that hides in human form to rest and hide in.
