Ironically, grading on an infinite scale effectively reduces everything to zero or one. Every finite score is infinitesimally small compared to the maximum, and every infinite score is the same because double infinity is still infinity. You have to add exponents to infinities in order to make them unequal, but if the exponents can be infinite, the problem persists. So, pick a maximum, Linton.
