Teacher: "The Taming of The Shrew" By William Shakespeare is a comedy in five acts. Teacher: It was first produced about 1593 and is one of Shakespeare's bawdier works. Teacher: The play describes the courtship between Katharina and Petruchio, who wants to subdue Katharina's legendary temper and win her dowry. Teacher: Baldo, can you please wake up Gilbert? Baldo: Why me? Teacher: Because you're sitting right next to him. Baldo: Yeah... Baldo: But I'm not the one who put him to sleep.
