Credit cards are a necessary evil this day and age. My sis-in law is a pharm tech, makes twice the median income in her area and was trying to buy a small home, had 20% down + closing costs, and pleanty of income. But all the stuff she’d bought “on credit” like her funiture wasn’t reported to the credit tracking co’s so she has NO credit history at all and couldn’t get approved….
