My daughter was once shunned by classmates for not letting them copy her homework. Her revenge? When a test was graded on a curve, she answered everything and bonus questions correctly to pull the average so high none of them could pass. Go Gracie.

See, that was the right approach this time. She actually learned something.

Lets see when you are older and Grace is in a high paying job and you will still be flipping burgers somewhere for a petty cash!!!

I’ve taken books to movies & sporting events (reading between periods & when my HS & college football teams… sucked, to put it mildly).

I have had many a good meal with a book for a dinner companion.

comicsssfan Not counting PE teachers and such, only a couple thousand make a living from sports at any given time. Those that did are mostly broke and/or suffering from concussion by 60, if still alive. Is schoolyard popularity worth it?

I always take a book or a magazine with me when I go out to eat by myself… I’d much rather eat and read …if they’d outlaw cell phones at the table it would be even better!

I just adore Gracie! She’s probably one of my favourite characters. A little bit like my sister.

I’ve done that since before I was in kindergarden (granted they were Disney comics-few words but still) and still do this day.

I used to let the dummies copy my answers as if I didn’tsee them…and at the last minute I would erase my answers and putin the correct answer…

Actually, the school morons will still harass you while you eat alone with a book. That happened to me, and there weren’t enough tables to eat entirely alone (they were designed to seat about 8-10 people), which I would have preferred. The school I went to had 800 students in the graduating class, but I’m pretty sure not more than about 70 of them ever go the the reunions. So many jerks, sociopaths, drug addicts, misogynists, and snobs – a reunion just isn’t worth the trouble of attend
