You can dress it up all you want but in the end nobody wants tongue. Except I actually like tongue. But adding the food colors would turn me off. Lengua should should look like the muscle meat it is.
the thought of this meal is .. its on the tip of my tongue. Not being Latino, I had to look this one up. Right in there with flipper pie on the bottom of my bucket list. Oh well, waste not, want not.

I love the new Toyota commercial where Jan asks what a Lengua sandwich is. They tell her and she gingerly puts it down.
