OH MY .. SERGIO! This such an unexpected treat!

Those were some wild and crazy comics. No wonder parents didn’t like them. But they sure were mind-blowing.

Sergio is so funny and so sweet in person. I have loved his drawings since the 50s and just recent discovered “Groo”. Read “Groo v Conan” for a hilarious story featuring the foibles of Sergio in a hospital gown who thinks he is Conan!

I’ve read ‘Mad’ since my early teens in the 60s and Sergio’s cartoons were always the most delightful! Happy Birthday, Sergio!
