Gracie got the backdrop right. This image comes more naturally to her than it does to most who use an “upgraded” bookcase as background.

It’s a good start.

A full bookcase is a beautiful sight.

Not completely full though – some books are standing on angles which means there is room for more books and there are no books shoved on the top of the standing books nor is there a second row of books on each shelf in front of the other books.

Trust me – I have to do this with our books to have room to fit them all on shelves – 5 – 6 ft tall bookcases and 4 half height ones. They are all 2 books deep with books lying on top of books to fill in all the room – plus books on top of the case of course. Oh wait, I forgot the half height tall, 5 ft long bookcase in the bedroom with most of his James Bond collection.

And each shelf is 2 books deep.

Aw, first Gracie tries to get $50 that doesn’t belong to her, and now she’s so concerned about her social media image? Ah well, I guess she’s human and growing up. Before you know it, she’ll be trying on makeup and batting her eyes at boys — or whatever girls do nowadays for that sort of thing.

Sadly, kids with smartphones aren’t playing hop scotch.

On a recent video call with a therapist I commented about some very old looking books on shelving behind her… She said they were just a backdrop screen.

Isn’t she a little young to be having a social media presence?

When I had a physical medical library, one use I advertised was as an intellectual backdrop.
