A very late good evening… or early good morning… Cleo pals…
and welcome to the September 1st (!??)  2020 “CLEO and COMPANY” on Sherpa.
But… what happened to August? Did somebody use it up already?
Not fair… I wasn’t finished with it yet!
Â
Anyway… another beautiful poster from StelBel… if a little spooky…
a whole throne made out of… (shiver) … BONES.
It looks like a true relic.. probably quite historical, as the bones look rather fossilised….
Then again, dogs don’t all have high standards for edibility… so it appears surprisingly intact.
I see that the noble bassetage who occupies it has a supply of fresher bones available…
I suppose that’s what has preserved this grand seat since antiquity.
I know this is a poster for a television epic…
One that some people and dogs rave about…
but I have to confess… I don’t have BHO… not even HBO for the lower-rated, copydog human version…
moreover, I don’t even have any TV reception at all..
So I haven’t seen it…
I’d love to see the costumes and settings, though…
I hear they’re magnificent…
and this poster certainly is that.

and a friend who’s a huge fan says I’d be hiding behind the couch anyway, what with all the basset-on-basset canine violence.Â
