You girls are terrible! MARG I’d say the hat adds class. EJCAPULET At least give the poor carrot a shower (Bleach 60:1) before breaking out the sour cream. No class.

Stay tuned for the next episode of…

“When vegetables intrude into the home”…

Somewhere there’s a Woody Allen “Sleeper” joke here…but that would require a really big chicken to appear also..

    I am grateful, I think!

And as for Ballard Street, heck, that carrot has earned a seat on the couch to watch TV before he winds up in the soup!

When I first saw those bones sticking up I thought it was a set of elaborate bagpipes and was glad there was no sound accompanying it.

Hey, if you can have a couch potato, why not a couch carrot?

Good job in dusting that thing off, Stel – no cobwebs there whatsoever!

The humans got it all wrong, of course:

A very late good evening… or early good morning… Cleo pals…

and welcome to the September 1st (!??)  2020 “CLEO and COMPANY” on Sherpa.

But… what happened to August? Did somebody use it up already?

Not fair… I wasn’t finished with it yet!

Anyway… another beautiful poster from StelBel… if a little spooky…

a whole throne made out of… (shiver) … BONES.

It looks like a true relic.. probably quite historical, as the bones look rather fossilised….

Then again, dogs don’t all have high standards for edibility… so it appears surprisingly intact.

I see that the noble bassetage who occupies it has a supply of fresher bones available…

I suppose that’s what has preserved this grand seat since antiquity.

I know this is a poster for a television epic…

One that some people and dogs rave about…

but I have to confess… I don’t have BHO… not even HBO for the lower-rated, copydog human version…

moreover, I don’t even have any TV reception at all..

    So I haven’t seen it…

and a friend who’s a huge fan says I’d be hiding behind the couch anyway, what with all the basset-on-basset canine violence.

I’d love to see the costumes and settings, though…

    I hear they’re magnificent…

and this poster certainly is that.

Good morning Balladeers, (((((Plods))))) and Miss Susan!Autumn doesn’t officially start until Sept. 22, but why does it feel like fall now? :-( :-( :-( And it’s even cool and cloudy here today to add to my misery! Time goes by WAY too fast! Especially the older you get. (Do I sound melancholy?)

Good poster, Stel, even if I never watched the series. Good touch with the Raven. I especially liked the BHO logo.

Happy birthday, Dennis. It would have been a great birthday present for you if they had fixed Sherpa for your birthday. Unfortunately, it will be the third year in four months that they haven’t fixed it. I have something a little less great for you. “SMOOCH SMOOCH”. Not as good as Sherpa being fixed, but it’s something. If you’re married, your wife doesn’t need to know.
