Hi, everybody!
It looks like Cleo has done a little shopping
To prepare for the Oct 2nd 2020 “CLEO and COMPANY” on Sherpa…
http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy
“Squirrel sensitive” land mines would be pretty much hair-trigger, as land mines go…. and hard to find.
I take it the nasty little tree-rats were failing to be exploded by the normal trial pack she’d bought at Weapons Я Us.
She had to have ordered a whole case from someplace more specialised…
OH! I bet it was that catalog I saw, when I looked through the pile in the Clifford’s bathroom…
Pretty pricey, too… I hope Cleo has a big movie role lined up soon.
Look again at today’s strip, though.
Do you see a glaring omission?
You probably don’t even notice any more… we’re so accustomed to it.
Come on… you can find it… or, rather, figure out that you can’t find it… if you put your mind to it.
OK… I’ll give you a hint.
It’s something you’d find in most people’s living rooms, if the dog walked past with a case of land mines.
It should be in one of Claude or Clara’s speech balloons…
Big hint: It’s a WORD.
A simple word.
It’s two letters long… and it starts with “N”.
It ends with “O”.
I know… you’re unfamiliar with it because the Cliffords never ever use it.

I wondered whether Claude or Clara had noticed “The Elegant Warrior… Ultra Weapons for the Discerning Dog.”Pretty pricey, too… I hope Cleo has a big movie role lined up soon.
