Anybody else read Stuart Kaminsky’s Inspector Rostnikov series? That guy did his neighbor’s plumbing because it made so much more sense than his job as a cop in the Soviet Union….Kaminsky’s Abe Lieberman series is extremely marvelous, too…Good stuff….Any other mystery readers out there?

I love the word outstanding, I have it on good authority, that many of the paintings Monet did were out standing in the field….with Camille and Jean….and the light falling from above…

Varnes…. The mascot of Clover Stornetta, the biggest local dairy here, is a cartoon cow named Clover, better known as Clo.

Clo has been the star of many billboards over the years, which are well loved, in spite of general anti-billboard sentiment, because they feature silly puns….

and one of the most famous, from back in the 1970’s, is this:

And if anybody cares.. Clo was dressed as Cupid for “Clover, the only milk with love in it.” She’s been featured as a Dairy Godmother, a Quart Jester, and standing on a cross-cut Spanish ship, captioned “Half Galleon”.You just can’t hate those billboards.

Dogsniff — Hard to tell whether you mean the whole picture isn’t on Photobucket or it won’t post here in one piece.

If the latter, it sounds like the pictures are just too wide for the comment boxes….

They can only be at max about 300 pixels…. but it’s easy to fix.

There may also be a size limit on Photobucket but I don’t know….

You’re doing good so far, but…You should be aware that some states require that you restrain your camera with a lanyard or strap while riding in a vehicle.

Another thing you should know, when you copy the HTML code from photobucket you get a reference to the image and a hyperlink back to the source. <a href="URL"><img src="URL"></a> Which means everyone can click on the image and see all your pics. So should delete the hyperlink parts leaving only the image reference <img src="URL">

I go a lot of times during the 2-week run so sometimes I’m missing on Ballard St….

I wanted to bring you all cotton candy but they just sell premade stuff in a bag! Yuck!…and everything there is way overpriced…

Maybe I’ll just get a cotton candy machine for the salon instead. Wouldn’t that be fun? Maybe I could style it.

Stel, alas, can’t bring too many fair treats home… fried stuff tastes horrible cold, and everything’s SO expensive!Ice cream bar $5, fried pickles (which I wouldn’t even taste when a friend bought them) $7!!

That’s why I want the cotton candy machine… the stuff at the fair is $4 and pre-made, in a bag.

And of course, Red…. everybody can stop by for cotton candy any time!Come have a cup of coffee, too!

Those lyrics ARE incredibly sad… can’t see how they fit the other song, which I, too, have always seen as warmongering.
