Well, we made it. at last, finally got ourselves to Ballard street, Elvis and I…. tired out by the route we had to take, and now everyone here has gone to bed, I guess.

No computer… I don’t know what will happen tomorrow, but the magic trick that saved it before seems to have lost its mojo for the moment. We’ve had to get here by way of my phone, which takes more effort.

Besides that, out at the western end, t he thunder and lightning are so heavy, with no rain at all, Elvis got spooked and ran a few miles in the wrong direction. That’s not like him at all!

Hello Fenton, I won’t stay long… I just need to leave the weekend paperwork for the Monkey… just in case he actually looks at it, and make sure everything is ok in here.

Do you need anything? Be sure to take home that big bundle of yak bones that’s in the fridge… I wrapped them in foil for you.

Good Day Ballardeers, Internet Connectivity has been spotty for the last couple or three days so I haven’t been my usual jovial self and was unable to make the turn earlier.I eschew any remotely political commentary on this site but as a broad generalization, Gary’s got it about right, if not reversed, sometimes I think the real clowns are the ones making the news.I’m like Storm, I take my daily news with a grain of salt and a pound of ( for me ) cayenne pepper.

Banana Daiquiris don’t quite sound like anything I’d like, but on last night’s Long Island Medium, she made a Medium Martini that I liked (because it was colored with blue Curacao, so even tho’ I prefer gin to vodka, that mix of coconut vodka with the blue sounds good to me (and sufficiently tropical for the Tiki. Been a while since I had any of that. I might even add some Goldwasser and call it a Midnight Dazzler!

Thanks for the clip, bev. I enjoyed it. After reading the reviews today, I’ve decided to pick it up this week. I’ve got a couple back-to-back long weekends coming I’ll certainly take the couple of hours or so to enjoy it.

I CAN allow myself virtual drinks (and any foods I want) here at the Tiki. I may actually try the Dazzler sometime next February!

On the subject of hats, I just like this one, so I’m re-posting it. It makes me smile.

I have a photo of Cuddles where I got her to hold still long enough (feathers down) to snap in a Diamondbacks cap (keychain style). It must be saved on a disk somewhere (not in the HD, and I lost a lot when Webshots closed down).
