Nabisco “Famous chocolate wafers” (the ones you use for whipped cream refrigerator cake) are close in flavor but thinner and more fragile….besides being rather hard to find and way overpriced when you do. But very nice.
(BTW the refrigerator cake is easy and good…. my mother’s favorite dessert. Looks “fancy” with almost no work. )
