I saw this on Fred Basset Years ago but with a different slant . Fred’s thought bubble said something like:“ah, the master’s voice :) I will always know just where he is”
Sparky has always had a little mean streak in him. He delights in stealthy sneaking up on Mr. Cunningham and suddenly barking, just as Mr. Cunningham is about to take a sip of hot coffee.
Other times, he will purloin one of his owner’s shoes – not to chew on, but to bury in the backyard.
Mr. Cunningham once purchased a ‘shock collar’ in a vain attempt to try to train Sparky.Sparky responded by chewing up every remote control in the house. He knew one of them operated the shock collar, and he was taking no chances.
When Mr. Cunningham spends too much time online and not enough attention is paid to Sparky, the craft canine has been known to chew the cables, spill Coke on keyboard, and hide the mouse. Sparky hates computers !
This reminds me of our next door neighbors. They have a sweet goofy not to bright standard poodle. The only thing I’ve ever heard them say to that dog is: “Zoey come”Of course Zoey does not pay any attention to them whatsoever, so they keep saying it. Over and Over. Gah!
We had a Cocker named Joe (most expensive free dog ever) who had to have his ear canals removed due to constant infection. Though dumb as a brick, he learned hand signals and would also come to a stomp on the floor..In Germany Schutzhound trained dogs know hand/arm signals. Also I heard that military dogs are trained to silent commands.
BTW, I have shut down my old GoFundMe campaign and started a new one just for maintenance costs.I honestly don’t remember which one of you that gave me the idea, but it seems like a good idea to me.You can get the new address at my profile.

@beviekI can’t wait to see what Ballard Street residents consider ideas of what “non-boring” clothes are.

Attaboy, Sparky! This’ll teach him to forget to buy more dog biscuits when they run out!
