Looks like Stan needs to be in a twelve step program.
Earl, over behind the tree, has taken a step up in the world.
Maybe two.
Stan’s favorite song: “I’m Gonna Sit Right Down, and Write Myself a Ladder.”
BaconBoy….
Thanks, but I left several posts yesterday, explaining all that, in greater detail.
Dennis was responding to one of them,
So that no one will be confused now, by seeing both of our posts…..,
I’d better say that in my instructions yesterday,
I said I use
So….. everybody…..
and   mean exactly the same thing…..
Both produce a blank space.
(Some code, like this bit, has both a numerical and common form.)
I prefer because the name for it….. “non-breaking space” ….helps me remember the letters.
But use whichever is easier for you to remember.
Just be sure it’s all lower case, and has the proper punctuation, and no spaces…
and that you hit enter twice on each side of it.
<p></p> seems to work erratically, so I gave up on it.
Dennis, I replied to your specific troubleshooting question yesterday.

Thanks again for the letter version of the space code.

The
. Code works only part time. So frustrating when you posted a great Ling piece.
Well that came out wrong! I’m going to quit posting on my phone, because I have no delete function.
Should have been “a great long piece” not Ling lol
Plus it auto-corrects half of what I write.
I give up, I’ll see you tomorrow.
Someone’s life has taken a rung turn.
I’m having trouble with my internet connection tonight.
It comes and goes, so sometimes I’m offline for a while,
or a comment takes so long to post that it times out and gets lost.
Rose….
You’re quite welcome.
Sometimes what ends up posting is not every letter the commenter typed…..
but from what I can see,
you may behaving trouble because
you’re sometimes leaving out the beginning ampersand.
I have “delete” and “reply” on my phone…..
You do have to touch the comment to make them appear.
Should be the same on other android phones.
If yours is an iPhone, it could be different……
Anybody with iOS out there who can tell us?
I can just hear the Shangri-Las singing their new remix, Ladder Of The Pack
Oh…. and Dogsniff……
I answered your question too.
I hope people really do come back and read the answers to questions they pose…..
I’m often not the only one who takes a lot of time to type explanations…..
Meanwhile….
glad you enjoyed your party, Stel….
and thank you to everybody who helped celebrate!
In the event you need a ladder?
or
In the event , you need a ladder?
Stan was always a social climber !
Not for me!
I like to keep all four feet on the ground.
Altho, that little space under the step stool looks comfy .
New song……“If I had a ladder……I’d climb it in the morning…..I’d climb it in the evening……all over this land! I’d climb the tall ones….I’d climb the shor ones…….I’d climb them for my brothers and sisters….all over this land.”
The ups and downs of standing over at Stan’s…
Stan is a ladder former. Earl (after a fall) is a former ladder former. I’d rather be the former than the latter.
People find all kinds of ways to get high.
You guys have come up with some great puns today! ROFLMAO!
NO on ladders, after having one fall on me, knocking me down the stairs (on my back, breaking same) I give them a WIDE berth!.
It was just like the one Willhem is standing on!
Watch out Willhem! That thing is dangerous!!
Yes, otherwise they’ll just get high all the time…
