Scooter, I doubt that you will fool any squirrel with that contraption.

Where is everyone? I need my beauty sleep. Rose, Mist, Ladycat, Montana wild woman? Hope to see you tomorrow.

The concept is sound, boy. But the execution needs a little work.

    OK, he’s got a ways to go…..

But credit where credit is due.

How many other of the non-anthropomorphic neighborhood dogs could even tie a string to a stick?

What he needs is some really compelling squirrel bait.

And speaking of those anthropomorphic dogs….

Scooter, BatPug was just pulling your leg when he told you all you have to do is make a noise like an acorn.

    And speaking of catching squirrels….

I can’t say she trapped one… but my little sister once caught a squirrel….

    She was only about four…

she wanted to play with it, so she grabbed it by the tail!

It bit her… and I’ve remembered for many years…..

many many many years, which may be why we don’t have the same memory….

that she had to have rabies shots.

Just coincidentally, it came up fairly recently in conversation,

and she says she didn’t get the shots

    No matter…

    The advice still stands:

Don’t grab a squirrel by the tail. Please.

Scooter, go look in the road, there’s several of those tree rats that look tired too. Goodyear for us, badyear for them.

I suppose ACME is expanding it’s business model to include panel strip cartoon characters.

You are going to need to find a bigger tree trunk to hide behind, Scooter.

    Your…

    Um, butt is sticking out.
