It’s hard to imagine why Daryl would feel that way. He looks as though he is already pretty well lit, so a little darkness shouldn’t be too much trouble.

If you couldn’t tell, Daryl was a big Batman fan as a kid. He loves utility belts to this day.

His neighbors just wish that Daryl wouldn’t light up their lives quite so much,

You can see that he just lights up

You can see him coming from a mile away. Sic ’em Scruffy…

Is he worried about not having enough lights or running out of lights?

Daryl is crazy, but who isn’t?

For Christmas, Edna’s getting him night vision goggles

Daryl was pretty well lit when the Ballard Street Tavern made last call a few hours earlier. His neighbors said he couldn’t find his way home with a flashlight and a road map. He’ll show them!

Oh, who’s he kidding? Daryl’s a flasher…

Daryl’s like a little kid with new rubber boots, can’t wait to try them out.

In the old days, a serious night rambler carried three or four flashlights because they were finicky gadgets prone to corrosion. They also went through batteries like crazy. Cheap LED flashlights are truly one of the more beneficial developments of the 21st Century. Unfortunately, they now come in only two brightnesses: OFF and there-goes-my-night-vision. :)

Daryl also experiences anxiety when it is dark!
