Malcolm owes the good shape he’s in to Maxine, saved a fortune in gym memberships.

Malcomb responds well, but still intends to sit down and enjoy his book despite Maxine’s request.

Malcolm has a shock coming when Maxine tries to install The Clapper™ on his, uh, person.

There once was a man who responds well.

But, in fact, it’s really a soft sell.

Like the string and the toy, Malcolm’s “Such a good boy!”

He’s “responding” to that wonderful food smell…

She caught Malcolm in the middle of his book.

Malcom’s wife: Malcolm, get your lazy butt in here…now!

Malcom thought retirement would be lived in leisure.

Malcolm also responds well to the dance of pain avoidance,

his inner voice, memory — and to Maxine’s shoe to his pants.

As ChessPirate implied: Maxine is an outstanding cook.

Bet he has a great hearing aid. My husband pretends to be deaf X-D

Malcolm knows what side his bread is buttered on, and Maxine has the butter.

Malcolm also sits up and shakes well. Maxine tends to make him shake a lot.
