Cupcake stares at Tobin with seeming malice

Tobin stares back since HIS home is HIS palace

Although a failing machine part he might be

The problem could be fixed quite easily:

A vet would excise around the dog’s phallus

There was a young fellow called Tobe,

Who walked round the house in a robe.

His dog disapproved,

Cos his clothes were removed,

He does wish his dog wouldn’t probe!

Cupcake glared at poor Tobin, the chink

in their armor, the group’s weakest link.

Didn’t mind being rude;

Darleen gave Cupcake food,

and the toilet provided her drink.

Darleen’s pet. Never combed her for fleas.

Never scratched the dog’s head,

nor taught her to “play dead.”

Prolonged time near her fur made him sneeze.

Maybe calls for an attitude adjustment at the vet?

Cupcake will not forgive Tobin

He’s tempted to bleed his hemoglobin

Although the dog is a male

His given name is female

Tobin can toss that name in the throw bin

Cupcake must live down his name

Among local dog packs he cowers in shame

It’s the name Mistress gave him

But that does not save him

From dog sneers that make him to blame

.

He’d rather be named Rex or Tiger or

Something more fitting his true demeanor

That is tough, rough, and savage

Ready at moment’s notice to ravage

And fight to be a feared apex pred-aetor

Cupcake has a hole prepared in the backyard awaiting the faltering machine’s failure.

It’s a possibility.
