I read Barney & Clyde too early to see the comments, so I must read the comments the day after. SO I must comment on the comments the next day. Here’s Surfstuff55and my response:

Arye Uygur said, 4 minutes ago@I think his Sunday school was right on. Many of the biblical characters, especial Abraham’s family, demonstrated neurotic relationships within their family groups and would have fit right in with Jerry Springers people – it’s what makes the bible characters so authentic.
Look at Sarah’s relationship with Abraham’s mistress, Hagar; and the rivalry between the twin brothers, Jacob and Esau; and the jealosy Joseph’s brothers had for him.
@Arye – See my response in ByE.@Affecionado – I don’t think Arye’s trying to be funny. Speaking as a Pastor, I think he’s making a good assessment of the Biblical characters in Genesis.

That name is usually spelled Ernest. I wonder what the Weingartens are getting at with “Earnest.” If it’s a pun, it’s not obvious to me. Hmm, hmmm.

Why isn’t “Antonym” “Antinym”?
