I don’t know about efficiency, but gas is more easily adjustable than the other forms of heating.
Grew up using gas..now luv electric stove
I hate my electric stove in Florida and prefer my gas stove in New York (I’m a “snowbird”). The electric stove cooks everything too fast and I often burn my meals.
