A propos to yesterday’s comments on “pet peeves,” my pet peeve is when people say “dirt” when they really mean “earth.”
I’m gonna dig me some dirtworms and go fishin’, after I finish my morning salute to Mother Dirt.
The name of the 3rd planet from Sol is spelled with an uppercase “E,” while lowercase “e” refers to what some people call “dirt.”
We use 24 hour time here in Scandinavia – but I guess its like the metric system and wouldn´t be added in the US :p
There would be no confusion as to what time it actually is.
France tried that once, but gave up on it.
‘military’ or 2400 hour time, is not at all confusing. AM and PM is confusing.
