I doubt I want to see it, but I doubt I’ll have to because of the marketing. I know enough to offer the insight that Prometheus incurred the wrath of the gods by bringing knowledge to mankind.
Prometheus – did not “suck.” It suffered from unrealistic expectations as the possible prequel to Alien. Worth a rental, if you like Science Fiction and/or Noomi Rapace ;-)
2012 was the same way (the John Cusack movie). It was a disaster of a movie (pun intended) but it would have been a better disaster on a big screen, not a TV (no matter how big). Prometheus was the same way. And why were the people on the “motorbikes” riding in the dust of the large vehicle? And why was there only a crew of 17 on a ship that big? I know you need cannon fodder (or redshirts), but that was still too small a crew.

“Negative respect.” That’s a great phrase; I’m going to use it… a lot.

Not on subject but only one week left until we can start griping that the copyright still says 2012. Happy New Year until then.

I think I enjoyed this strip about “Prometheus” more than the movie itself.
