Taking into account the amount of people standing in the lines I and I’m sure we’ve all seen trying to return gifts this time of year I see the better of the two visual joke here as the babbling brook we see flowing next to the “Gift Return” desk… Well at least when it comes to stress relief!

And to think that all this time, I thought “BC” meant “Before Cassettes”! LOL! <:-)

Just imagine what a ‘stress reduction counselor’ would have ended up looking like.

Was it a problem with the tape player, or a stress-related incident?

I think the 8 track invented way back in 1970’s? I just guess.

You can’t return them unles they’re in the original box they came in.

I think 8-tracks go way back (sounds like Mr Peabody) in to the 60s.

8 tracks on a looped magnetic tape, two tracks per program.

8-track dates from the mid-1960’s. Reel-to-reel is quite a bit older (1930’s/40’s.) The tapes she’s holding appear to be cassettes – also mid-60’s.

Mid-60’s B.C., that is!
