You only have to worry if you have on Long Johns with a trap door in the rear…

Outhouses are the number one place where black widow bites occur. Mostly men are bitten. I’ll let you guess where.

When I was a toddler, we lived in a house that had two rooms and a path.

Trap door spiders? AW, hell no! You also shouldn’t read about alligators in the sewers while lounging in a tub!

have a friend who nearly lost her foot to a brown recluse.had an uncle who lost part of a finger to a black widow.I leave most spiders alone, being grateful they eat flies, but have killed thousands of black widows over the years, usually by accident, I pick something up and squish a couple of black widows who were lurking there.

I thought the guide was there so you could identify the spiders you encounter

In the last century, I had a male relative who was bitten by a black widow spider on the scrotum while sitting on the john in an outhouse. He nearly died. Those boys swelled up to the size of softballs (no pun intended!)!
