When we have company, we give them our bedroom and we sleep on a futon in my wife’s office. When our dog Rocky was still with us, he would get very irked at having to sleep in another room (he always slept in our room, often on the bed). So, when we’d have company, he got into the habit of sneaking into the master bedroom while they were out and stretching out on their pillows. He didn’t like having to give up “his room.”Talk about “smelling dog.”

That’s one way the hair of the dog can sober you up.

Smart dogs. But, don’t have them if you don’t want to smell them. (not a dog person)

Easy mistake for a dog to make. To them we have a weak sense of smell.

Nice use of foreshortening in the the last two panels.
