Decades ago I read about some of the earliest sleep research results. One finding was that EVERYONE had a dip in activity at about 2 p.m. regardless of whether they had eaten lunch or not. I don’t know if anyone has updated that research since. (Wikipedia on circadian rhythms was no help.)
